Lübeck, Oct. 30, 2015. The documentary films screening at the 57th Nordic Film Days do the genre proud with their portrayals of topical and complex issues as they examine particular personal destinies and political processes. The topic of refugees is currently everywhere in the news and I AM DUBLIN does justice to the subject with its coverage of the hardships and absurdities of the Dublin Process, which has long since outlived its applicability. NICE PEOPLE, directed by Sweden’s Anders Helgeson and Karin af Klintberg, on the other hand, provides an inspiring example of cultural integration.
