Documentary Films, Denmark 2023, 83 Min., dan. OV, engl. st
Adult siblings Susie and Sune live together on a remote farm in Denmark. With the support of her brother, Susie has recently started her own taxidermy business. While she goes hunting and stuffs animals, he commutes three hours a day to his job at a construction company. The two have a close bond due to their difficult upbringing, but their shared life together also gives rise to conflicts. When Susie is invited to a taxidermy competition in Budapest, Sune wants to come with her. But then their mother, with whom Sune broke off contact eight years previously, contacts them and the siblings have to confront their childhood and its impact on their current lives. "Revir" is a film about a unique sibling relationship that is characterised by both interdependence and distance. It documents their everyday life amidst living and dead animals, and the gradual confrontation with the ghosts of the past.
