Friday evenings bring them together – best friends Mimmi and Rönkkö, who work at a smoothie bar, and Emma, a driven figure skater. At first, Emma and bubbly Mimmi butt heads tremendously, but in the end it turns into a flirtatious relationship. The three young women are on their way to becoming adults, but they’re not quite there yet. Mimmi lets her feelings out, but sometimes her angry eruptions are just a facade. For Rönkkö, sex or, more precisely, what others get out of it, is a mystery. But that doesn’t stop her from trying to figure it out in attempts that don’t always end well. Emma’s main focus in life is competitive sports. But while she’s perfecting her triple Lutz, she’s missing out on a lot of other things. The film shows three young women on a series of consecutive Fridays, creating an episodic portrait of Emma, Mimmi, and Rönkkö’s search for their heart’s desire.
