A day in the life of a young man. He has breakfast with his mother, works at a construction site, meets and goes out with his girlfriend. We listen to his interior monologues about the future. Andersson's talent for episodic storytelling is already evident in this, his third student film. High-contrast black-and-white images provide insight into the everyday life of an everyman.
