Opus 161 "Untitled"
Immersion 360°, Denmark / USA 1966, 10 Min., no dialogue
With his light symphonies, which he presented as projections with what he called the Clavilux, Thomas Wilfred created a new art form. “Opus 161” is considered one of his finest. It contrasts perfectly with “Opus 136” and is his final work, in which he used light reflections to create visual forms. The work was only discovered after his death and was never shown during Wilfred’s lifetime.
