A breezy summer day on the Riga beach. A young woman is selling ice cream from a cooler as she listens to motivational affirmations about self-love over her headphones and, sometimes, to the conversations of beachgoers. They’re about relationships, God, and the smell of fish at the Baltic Sea. In her search for herself, the ice cream seller begins to repeat the overheard snippets of conversation word for word.
