13. Lübeck Film Studies Kolloquium
Lübeck Meetings
The Lübeck Film Studies Colloquium is a long-standing collaboration between the Nordic Film Days and the Journal of Scandinavian Cinema. Over two days, students, researchers, and film enthusiasts come together for short lectures and conversations with festival guests. The focus of this year‘s sessions is twofold: ecomedia – from ecocritical readings of film history to the environmental costs of production and current green production practices; and film historiography – how archives, new forms of cataloguing, and presenting history are reshaping film historical work. As always, the programme also turns to recent developments in Nordic film and television. The Colloquium is curated by Anders Marklund, senior lecturer in film studies at Lund University and primary editor of the Journal of Scandinavian Cinema, in collaboration with Tobias Hochscherf, professor for audiovisual media at Kiel University of Applied Sciences and the University of Flensburg. Participants are welcome to join the full programme or attend selected sessions. Details are available on the Nordic Film Days website.
