An escaped prisoner flees into the Icelandic wilderness. After his two accomplices disappear, he finds himself in a mysterious world where time and the landscape flow weirdly into one another. This is the first Icelandic film to be produced specifically for fulldome cinemas. It was a cooperative venture between the British aerial and acrobatics troupe Hikapee and filmmaker Owen Hindley, who has been working with them on a large-scale theatre production since 2018. When the project was suspended during the Corona pandemic, this short VR film featuring motion-capture footage of the circus performers was created, inspired by the country’s nature and folklore.
