Wawahut LIVE

At the intersection of sound, space, and visual arts, the Finnish collective Wawahut creates immersive chill-out and downtempo experiences. Inspired by nature, fellowship, and the art of deceleration, the collective engenders environments in which people commingle and drift through carefully curated soundscapes and visual worlds. A Wawahut space is a mixture of planetarium, psychedelic cinema, digital garden, and late-night club lounge. Projections move across the curved walls and turn the entire dome into a visual space. Geometric shapes are created, metamorphose, and dissipate again. Colours and light move through the room, accompanied by deep bass tones, delicate soundscapes, and atmospheric music. The result is an immersive, weightless atmosphere, in which the borders blur between dreaming and waking states.
