Tödliches Erbe – Munition in der Ostsee

Immersion 360°, Germany 2024, 9 Min., ger. OV, 12 years and older

More than 1.5 million tonnes of munitions lie at the bottom of the Baltic and North Seas. More than 70 years after the end of World War II, they are still leaking toxic substances like TNT, mercury, and lead, posing a danger to both humans and the environment. This film follows a team of scientists aboard the research vessel "Alkor", which is searching the Bay of Lübeck for as yet undetected polluting munitions.
