Prange 2 – Man ist ja jetzt Paar

It's been all of six months since local Barmbek grump, Ralf Prange, confessed his love to Dörte, the woman of his dreams. Everything should be perfect now, but life and love are more complicated than he'd hoped. Being in a relationship is a whole different kettle of fish, and Prange has a lot to learn about living together and sharing space. Adding insult to injury, the apartment building he lives in is bought by a rich whippersnapper who immediately claims Prange's apartment is needed to house his own son. So Prange feels like he's fighting battles on multiple fronts: against the landlord, eviction, and gentrification in his Barmbek neighbourhood; against other tenants who are trying to save themselves using any means necessary – and against Dörte. Instead of addressing his problems head-on, he prefers to seek refuge in the cellar. Only his neighbour Horst Rohde remains steadfastly at his side. The two start hatching plans – but those can only lead to disaster.
