A final day of summer, a family outing to the river, and the end of idealised masculinity. Max is masturbating to a video of a classmate when his father, Guido, catches him in the act. This has unexpected consequences. Guido wants to show his son what it means to grow from a boy into a man. Max struggles to come to terms with the end of his childhood – and with the values of his role model.
