Auf der Rückseite der Landschaft / The B-side of the Landscape
Filmforum, Germany 2026, 30 Min., ger., span. OV, ger. st
A parking lot in Brunsbüttel, shot on hand-processed 16mm film. An ageing filmmaker waits here for his wife. Seated between a supermarket, an electronics discounter and a car wash, he reflects: on the conversation at the lunch table and special deals, on events in the wider world, on film projects that never came to fruition. A portrait of a non-place.
