Dante och miljonerna / Dante

The city dump is Helge’s least favourite place to be. And no way is he going to make friends with a rat. Because Helge is an ambitious, calm, and lonely bank employee for whom order, cleanliness, and his reputation are almost holy. But shortly after his dream comes true and he is promoted to bank director, the bank’s vault is found empty, and Helge is the main suspect. He flees and ends up at the dump of all places, where he meets a streetwise rat named Dante. Dante agrees, in exchange for a golden briefcase lock, to help Helge find out who really robbed the bank. To achieve this aim, Helge not only has to get himself dirty, he also has to immerse himself in a world he had always avoided – where he learns that true friends don’t necessarily wear spotless suits. This quiet, heartwarming, and humorous story is told in the clear, pared-down graphics of cutout animation.
