Eight-year-old Mare goes to her first funeral. She’s confused by the grown-ups’ formal rituals. Everyone seems to be wrapped up in their own mourning, and Mare feels lost and overlooked. But she gets what the grown-ups can’t give her, or each other, from a dog and her imagination. A compassionate live action short about mourning, loneliness, and the desire for connection.
