Tvingat en vår på knä / Forced a Spring on Its Knees
Nordic Shorts, Sweden / Finland 2026, 27 Min., DCP, sw. OV, engl. st
The birthday cake is ready and waiting, but father does not appear. So grandfather, who takes care of the grandchild, heads out into the night to look for him. From this web of fragmented images and rhythmic sounds, freed from the boundaries of time and place, a fragile narrative develops that opens up space for the viewer’s free association.
The film contains scenes with strobe lighting.
