Liian sininen taivas / Too Blue a Sky
Nordic Shorts, Finland 2026, 15 Min., finn. OV, engl. st
In Risto-Pekka Blom’s cinematic essay, a freshwater mussel succinctly recounts the madness of a humanity that is destroying the resources of planet Earth – and thus day after day mindlessly working towards its own demise. While the decades are characterised by war, violence, and despotism, Armstrong and Aldrin dance the Finnish humppa on the moon. Year after year, Earth Overshoot Day moves forward on the calendar.
