Schoolgirl Laura is confined to bed; a tele-robot attends class on her behalf. Rikke wants a child; she's trying her hand at motherhood in daily life with a data-collecting doll. Celina plays tennis with her left arm since the prosthesis for her amputated right arm hasn't been fitted yet. A portrait of three strong-willed young women who are able to give their lives new direction with the help of technology.
