Nordische Filmtage-Party / Nordic Film Days Party

The celebration of the 67th Nordic Film Days this year features the eight-piece folk band Hepta Polka. The band has often guaranteed a wild party in clubs or at festivals, but also manages to thrill audiences in a classic concert hall. The powerful arrangements from various regions of Europe are brim-full of joie de vivre. With clarinet, flutes, soprano saxophone, violin, Stroh violin, Hardanger fiddle, keyed fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and guitar, accordion, percussion, trombone, contrabass, as well as rich vocal interludes, the multi-instrumentalists bring folkloric traditions, danceable rhythms, and deeply moving melodies to the stage. Their boisterous energy is infectious – a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. Afterwards, dety mixes deep house into musical journeys. Having grown up with classical music, she has always had a love for beautiful melodies and sounds with a dash of kitsch and epicness. Her sounds are sometimes dreamy, sometimes bouncy, but always with a lot of feeling and warmth. You can get a little lost along the way on detours through indie dance, nu disco and tech house. True to her motto: Dream or bounce all your troubles away.
