The Labor für Immersive Media at Lübeck’s Technische Hochschule executes cultural, art, and academic projects, in cooperation with universities, foundations, and other institutions. The lab’s focus is on aesthetically ambitious productions for various immersive media, such as 360° dome projections, virtual reality, and augmented reality.

The lab’s most interesting projects will be introduced at the Nordische Filmtage. The includes a small road show with augmented reality posters that allow visitors to interact with the microcosm of water polyps and glowworms in the jungle, or take a journey into the human brain and the world of neurons. The target groups are schoolchildren, media fans, creatives, or students.

The lab is part of the Technische Hochschule Lübeck and is used by students of information technology and design in the electrical engineering and computer sciences division.
