Straße der Poesie – Multimediale Poetry Walks / On Lyrical Street – multi-media poetry walks

Five evenings of multi-media events will be held in Lübeck’s Mengstrasse, featuring local poet Matthias Kröner and his work. Virtual people will come out of the historical façades and recite poetry. The videos were made using actors from Lübeck, and tailored to the various sites of the projections. The writer himself will lead the group through the city; passers-by are welcome to join in and walk along. The “Lyrical Street” is an interplay of the poetic art and street history, projection and acting, in which the Mengstrasse plays the leading role.
