360 Degrees Sylt - Island in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site

360 Grad Sylt – Insel im Weltnaturerbe Wattenmeer / 360 Degrees Sylt - Island in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site

Immersion 360°, Germany 2022, 42 Min., germ. OV

Sylt is a beloved destination for many people, as well as being an ecosystem for numerous fauna and flora threatened with extinction. The largest German North Sea island, this 360° film gives audiences a chance to experience it with new eyes. A sheep chews grass without taking his eyes off his guests, porpoises and kit surfers fly over the audience’s head, the camera swoops over the Morsum cliff, between the trees along the Vogelkoje nature path, and makes it possible to journey inside a lugworm – as a grain of sand. But this grand tour through nature makes the threat to it visible. Images of porpoises playing with marine trash show the danger facing this fragile ecosystem.
