Teenager Daniel has gone missing in a small town on the border of Norway and Sweden, causing secrets, tensions and past traumas in the town to bubble up. Visiting biologist Emma hears rumours that the local wolves were to blame – or could it be something to do with her father Marius, a controversial expert on the local lupine population? Can she even trust him around his grandson Leo? When her father disappears too, Emma teams with a visiting journalist from Oslo to get to the bottom of the mysteries of this small town. Will the human neighbours prove to be more dangerous than the wolves? This wonderfully atmospheric drama is so imbedded in the landscape that we can almost smell the forest.
