The film is an exploration of the complex relationship between Indigenous peoples and the unstoppable progression of technology. Modern technologies are often seen as the ruin of sustainable ways of rural life. But as historians have noted, in the past the Sámi have at least partly embraced and welcomed the technical revolution.
