Rássegáldu is a small oasis on the Norwegian high plateau of Finnmark. Not only do nine wellsprings flow together here, but a plant grows in abundance that is highly valued in Sámi culture and medicine: Boŧka/Olbmoborranrássi – in English: angelica. Rássegáldu and its mythical presence testify to an ancient, holistic understanding of humanity and its bond with nature.
