The Greenland ice sheet is losing 30 million tons of ice every hour. During his on-location research trips, Felix Deufel collected the sounds of migrating glaciers, breaking icebergs, roaring melt-water rivers, and hissing ice crystals. He used his recordings to compose an aural ecstasy of water, the basis of all life and the cause of many natural disasters.
