Bis zur Wahrheit / Until Truth

Martina is doing well. She's happily married, the mother of a teenager, and she has managed to successfully assert herself as a neurosurgeon among male colleagues. Until, that is, a shared family holiday on the Baltic Sea, when the son of her best friend, whom she has known since childhood, rapes her. As if paralysed, Martina tries to come to terms with the traumatic experience by herself. But her life begins to crumble. When people around her, and her husband, hear about the crime, they meet her with scepticism and mistrust rather than offering support. Is she using these accusations to try to cover up an affair? Why didn't she fight back? Martina gathers all her strength to try to regain control of her life and her own narrative.
