Todd & Super-Stella

Todd sometimes wishes that he could sell his little sister. She doesn't like to share, she takes things she shouldn't take, and they can't do much together. Stella, if she could, would freeze her brother and thaw him out again in two years. Todd can always do everything better than she can. Her imagination gives her superpowers, but it also makes her afraid of some of the things Todd says or can already do. She doesn't know that Todd is also afraid of many things, and that he is the slowest at school and not particularly strong. Todd and Stella fight with each other and then get along again. For over five years, Mari Monrad Vistven followed them with her camera. She leaves a lot of room for honest feelings – the nice ones and those we prefer to hide. Where words fail, the at times cheerful and at times gloomy animation by Kajsa Næss gives expression to the emotions. The duel portrait draws us into the many big and small moments of a sibling relationship and shows how two personalities mature together.
