Bum! / Boom!

Hugo and Tom have been best friends since first grade. On the first day of the new school year, they show off on their skateboards in order to finally become popular. Hugo promptly has an accident and breaks his nose – and suddenly has superpowers with which he can influence objects and people at will. From one day to the next, Hugo is the most popular boy in the school. With his magic powers, he can even impress his big sister and the show-offs in the upper classes. Tom, feeling neglected, has to accept the fact that Hugo no longer has time for him. Hugo, on the other hand, soon realizes that his sudden popularity cannot be relied upon. He urgently needs Tom's help. But his best friend, who now only hangs out with the new classmate Karla, apparently doesn't want anything more to do with him. Can Hugo win Tom back? A light-footed comedy about the power of desire and fame, and the ups and downs of true friendship.
