A trucker who turns out to be an artist, and an artist who is training to be a truck driver – two divergent narratives intertwine to create an idiosyncratic, meditative picture of the world of long-distance truckers. In the fragmentary, fleeting gaze of the 16mm camera, the anecdotal is combined with the sublime, and the mundane with the metaphorical. An exhaust pipe becomes a flamethrower.
