Winter is coming and the migratory birds are flying south. The coast transforms into a frosty and hostile world where the pace is set by death. Washed-out 16mm images of nature merge with animations of artfully arranged porcelain figures to create a fairy-tale symphony of movement and torpor that tells of the passing of time and the transience of existence.
