Maybe before catching Mads Mikkelsen’s newest film, “Promised Land”, you might want to take a look at the book on which it’s based. Or maybe check to see whether the bestseller “Hør her’a!” by Norwegian writer Gulraiz Sharif is even funnier than the film version “Listen Up!”, which is screening at the NFL. In the Nordic Book Lounge, the Lübeck municipal library presents a range of books that have some kind of connection to the Nordic Film Days – from books on which films are based to current literature from northern Europe, literature, non-fiction, children’s books, travelogues, and illustrated books. We invite you to browse, discover new books, or simply take a break between films in a relaxed atmosphere.
