The Retrospective section presents a deliciously entertaining whirlwind comedy of mistaken identity. At its core is a womanizer who travels to the countryside under a false identity with the intention of marrying one of the daughters of his best friend’s aunt. But of course, the best-laid plans, as they say. The screening of the 1927 silent will be accompanied by live music by Lina Gronemeyer on clarinet and Frederik Sturm on piano.
