Lübeck Film Studies Colloquium
The Lübeck Film Studies Colloquium is a collaboration between Journal of Scandinavian Cinema and the Nordic Film Days. Over two days, there will be short lectures, discussions, and conversations with guests of the Nordic Film Days. The Colloquium welcomes students, researchers as well as everyone else with an interest in the study of film, in particular, of course, the cinemas of the Nordic countries.
This year the Colloquium will, as usual, offer panels on a variety of topics, but also aims to start a discussion about the colloquium as a space for conversations on film and television research. The areas covered this year range from student film festival reporting, art and film to changes following the rise of global streaming services. All presentations, discussions and conversations are mentioned in the detailed colloquium programme.
The programme is curated by Anders Marklund, senior lecturer in film studies at Lund University and primary editor of the Journal of Scandinavian Cinema (Intellect), in collaboration with Tobias Hochscherf, professor for audiovisual media at Kiel University of Applied Sciences and the University of Flensburg.
Friday 8 November (14-18) & Saturday 9 November (9-12.30) at the Willy Brandt Haus, Königstraße 21.
Admission is free of charge. Please register in advance by sending an informal e-mail to Anders Marklund: anders.marklund@litt.lu.se.
