May 2006 – Artistic Director Linde Fröhlich will attend the Cannes Film Festival from 17 to 28 May to select films for the Nordic Film Days Lübeck. “Cannes offers an excellent opportunity to view the latest Nordic and Baltic films in the Marché du Film, the largest film market in the world,” says Linde Fröhlich. “This supplements the films that we have already seen in Göteborg and Berlin and gives us the basis for our final selection in Haugesund.” More
May 2006 – Since spring of 2006 the “Friends of the Nordic Film Days Lübeck e.V.” is officially registered as a non-profit association according to German law. This gives the “Friends” a clear form for legal and financial purposes. The aim of the “Friends” is to promote the Nordic Film Days through personnel, financial support and constructive ideas and to organize information events about the festival. More
