Artistic Director Linde Fröhlich will attend the Cannes Film Festival from 17 to 28 May to select films for the Nordic Film Days Lübeck. “Cannes offers an excellent opportunity to view the latest Nordic and Baltic films in the Marché du Film, the largest film market in the world,” says Linde Fröhlich. “This supplements the films that we have already seen in Göteborg and Berlin and gives us the basis for our final selection in Haugesund.”
During the “Festival du Film” there will be an informal meeting at the Scandinavian Terrace offering marzipan from Lübeck and presenting the latest information about the upcoming film festival. Also attending the Cannes festival for Lübeck is press officer Stephen Locke.
