Hur många lingon finns det i världen? (Britt-Marie och evigheten)

Alex is a young dreamer who seeks self-fulfilment at the theatre. When he is kicked out by his girlfriend, Alex needs to find a new job. He finds it in a home for the mentally disabled, where life consists of clearly-stated rules and routines - and endless courses in which the residents are taught to tie their own shoelaces. At first Alex has great difficulties adjusting to this world. But then he discovers the hidden talents of the home's residents and decides to create a drama group, which he promptly enters into a talent competition. But his plans are opposed by the home's director and the protégés' parents. Lena Koppel's warmhearted comedy is based on the activities of the internationally successful, Swedish "Happy Hudik Theatre". The director puts up for discussion just what the truly important values and successes in life are, and has the courage to make do without professional actors and have amateurs play the roles of the mentally disabled
