Broderskab

22-year old Lars is given dishonourable discharge from the army. Rumour has it, that he approached a number of soldiers with sexual intent. Dissappointed and disrooted, Lars joins a group of Danish neo-Nazis, in whose circle he gains increasing respect due to his resolute appearance. Especially Jimmy, a melancholy outsider, becomes a close friend. When the two of them stay at the neo-Nazi gangleader's house in the country for a few weeks to renovate it, they gradually discover their love for one another. But their gay relationship is not respected within the group. Director Nicolo Donato has created a weighty, sentimental film that not only tells a moving lovestory, but also pillories the brutality of neo-Nazi ideology. Magnificent in their starring roles: David Dencik and Denmark's number one cinema star Thure Lindhardt, who became famous in his role of resistance fighter in "Flame & Citron".
