Eva & Adam

Eva & Adam

Children´s and Youth Films, Sweden 2021, 82 Min., sw. OV, engl. st, 12 years and older

Eva’s little brother says that he knows that he’s in love, because when he thinks of Sarah, he gets this feeling in his belly. And in his chest. And in his foot. Eva doesn’t feel anything there, but when she sees Adam on the morning tram, she also gets a kind of feeling. Adam has just moved to Gothenburg. Leaving behind his best friend, Molly, wasn’t easy, and then there was that goodbye kiss. But now, when he sees Eva on the tram, things are… different. Everything feels like it’s floating, but it’s also all very complicated. Eva had to swear to her best friend that she neither looks at nor speaks to boys. And Adam isn’t just plagued by the unresolved situation with Molly. There’s also that bit with his rabbit, something that Eva – an animal rights activist and pet opponent – can’t find out about. But what can you do, the feeling is there. In fact, there seem to be a lot of feelings that have to be sorted out when love strikes. Especially when it’s the first time.
