Klara loves Christmas. This year, the exuberant calf from the city will be celebrating with her father out on the farm for the first time, and Klara’s anticipation is naturally off the charts. But instead of festive decorations and merry yuletide spirits, there’s a slew of problems. Not to mention that her father seems to be a bit of a Christmas grinch. When he gets snowed in at another farm, Klara has no choice but to take preparations into her own hooves. But where to start? She hears about the elves from the neighbour goat, Gaute, who also lets Klara know all about his musical ambitions. Legend has it they live on farms and look after things there as long as they are treated well. Is there any truth to the story, and can Klara hope for some help? For the second time, Klara the city calf goes on a gaudily colourful adventure in this successful animated film from Norway. The charismatic inhabitants of Cattle Hill are once again part of the action and, in the end, Klara learns a lot about where the magic of Christmas really comes from.
