Nordic Shorts, Finland / USA 2019, 20 Min., engl. OV
The film tells the story of New York’s potter’s fields, the final resting place of the city’s unknown, unclaimed, or indigent. Told in contemporary black-and-white images, often sped up with time-lapse photography. The final section takes us to the former Fresh Kills landfill, final resting place of the World Trade Center ruins, now on its way to becoming a park.
