An explosives expert who has one foot in prison and one foot in the witness protection programme is a member of a gang of professional bank robbers. Now he’s in a hotel room with police to prep his testimony against his accomplices. Everyone is under pressure, and the conditions set by Mikael (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, of “Game of Thrones”) before he’ll talk about the robbery initially seem random. Only bit by bit does it become clear what the master plan is. Under the direction of Jens Dahl, the film slowly unfolds as a high-tension, intimate drama with an explosive ending. The core power of this thriller, shot in a palette of dark colours, lies with its compelling script, written by the director, and strong performances from Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen (“Borgen”).
