When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! Four 17-year-old friends, Jessica, Aino, Taru and Jenny all sense that their lives are soon going to change. Each of them is facing a painful challenge. Jessica goes to Vilnius, following a boy she’s head over heels in love with, but for whom she’s no more than a flirtation. Aino is overweight and sick of being unhappy with her body and the teasing she endures. When Taru is faced with an unwanted pregnancy, she questions her excessive behaviour. And Jenny can no longer ignore the fact that her love for her best friend is not reciprocated. For all four of the young women, it’s time to bite the bullet and deal with their situations. They never thought growing up would be so hard. The film is a realistic and compellingly told coming-of-age story, drawn from real video dairies, featuring fantastic actors.
