While she’s out on the town in Reykjavik, Maríanna meets a stranger and takes him home on the spur of the moment. Once there, he’s not at all romantic, but instead becomes so persistent that Maríanna’s daughter Védís wakes up and suddenly appears in the doorway. The man is thrown out, and mother and daughter try to calm one another. But which of them takes on which role?
