Though they don’t even know how to tie a tie, a car dealer gives Nikolaj and Martin a high-octane model to take for a test drive – and they push it to the limit. The friends spend their lives street racing tuner cars and partying through the night. But then Martin kills a woman bicyclist during an impulsive race. Nikolaj and Martin resolve not to reveal their illegal racing to the police. Martin is given a jail sentence and can no longer sleep. Nikolaj is free, but he’s also plagued by guilt – and becomes close to the girl that Martin had just recently met. Director Christiansen delivers not only breathtakingly-edited car races, but also a convincing psychological portrait of the street racing scene.
