En fiende att dö för

En fiende att dö förAn Enemy to Die For

Special, Sweden / Norway / Germany 2012, 103 Min.

In 1912 Alfred Wegener presented his theory of a continental drift, whereby all the continents had originally been conjoined. In August 1939 a German expedition set out to Spitsbergen, accompanied by an English Geologist aboard a Swedish ship with a Norwegian captain and a Russian crew, in search of evidence of such a “primordial continent”. When they are surprised by news of the Germans invading Poland, and of the English and French declaration of war, the fronts that now separate Europe also separate the members of the expedition. But unexpected alliances begin to form, of which the liaison of a Swedish explosives expert and an attractive German geologist is the most obvious. After his post-War railroad movie “Illusive Tracks” (NFL 2003), Peter Dalle has come up with another gripping spy thriller, this time set to the largest part aboard a ship.
