Sex is all that Alma can ever think of. But what else is there to do in this lousy little village called Skoddeheimen? Alma's best friend Sara writes inflamed letters to prison inmates in American prisons in order to express her desire for human closeness and comfort. Alma, on the other hand, prefers to seek her objects of desire close by. She takes almost everyone - male or female - into consideration, and when arousal gets the better of her, she can always rely on Stig, a young man on a sex hotline, to help her reach gratification. Alma's greatest passion, however, is directed towards Artur, the prudish boy from next door. But when he reacts to her advances in a most doltish manner, Alma's reputation reaches a record low. "Turn Me On, Goddammit!" is a cheeky, non-uptight comedy that humorously depicts what happens when hormones run wild. Its brilliant young star Helen Bergsholm stands her ground, amicably and confidently, no matter how tricky the situations get that the wonderful script leads her into.
