Keeper'n til Liverpool

Lethal dangers lurk everywhere in Jo's perception - be it in traffic or on the football pitch: "Every year, people are dying on Norwegian football grounds." And because he is a terrible goalkeeper to boot, his enthusiasm for football is confined to collecting football picture cards. Envisioning himself in hospital, prison or psychiatric care at any given moment, Jo spends his time avoiding danger. But then he is confronted with a new fellow pupil. Mari is a talented football player and, just like Jo, she loves solving mathematical problems. She is an unknown quantity that is disarranging the entire equation of Jo's life. In order to win her over, Jo must take certain risks - and suddenly everything begins to go wrong. The only way to reconcile his angry schoolmates would be to obtain the picture card of the Liverpool goalie that they've all been after for ages ... Inspired by the Truffaut classic "The 400 Blows", director Arlid Andresen has made a youth film that gives an acutely imaginative and courageous voice to teenage hardships.
