Europe in the year 2024. Cities and landscapes have developed into dreary deserts due to environmental pollution. But under the surface of the earth, life is bustling: urban European underground trains have been unified to a gigantic metro-system, transporting the blunted working masses on a daily basis. Roger works as a call-centre agent in Stockholm. One day he perceives a strange voice inside his head. As he seeks the cause, he not only discovers that his entire life is being monitored, but he also uncovers the dealings of a sinister global enterprise. This fascinating mixture of "Metropolis", "1984" and "The Matrix" is a unique animated film project from Sweden. Director Tarik Saleh has scanned the faces of famous actors including Vincent Gallo, Juliette Lewis and Udo Kier, and has animated them on a computer. The result is a one-of-a-kind, gripping, melancholy science-fiction parable.
