After several years, Linas comes across his old school friend Tadas. In order to spice up his boring life, Linas offers to take Tadas on one of his nightly cruising tours. "Night driving" is the name of this ritual: aimless cruising through the city by car. At first, Tadas is hardly rapt by this uneventful evening. But when Linas invites an extraordinary woman to join them on their cruise, Tadas is way too astounded to make it clear immediately that he is married to this beauty of the night. And Laura plays along: as the sexual tension increases, a hunt through nighttime Vilnius begins – a hunt for adventure and the feeling of being in charge of one's own world under the cover of darkness. "Low Lights" is an atmospheric road movie. It tells of an urban trip in the course of which the cold, narrow city changes into an unexplored, unpredictable space filled with freedom, proximity, eros and hope.
